Dominoes...a national game !!
Cuban culture, as many of you already know,
is due to the merging of diverse cultures.
The Spaniards, the black slaves brought from
Africa, various immigrations from Arabic countries,
Haiti and specially the coolies from China.
The game in its present day version consists of
tiles numbered up to the double nine. Formerly
it was only numbered up to the double six, mode
of the game that is still played in some parts
of
the island. In CUBA the game of Dominoes has
its own peculiar vocabulary and rules!!
